Farm animal health and disease management (endemic and emerging) is a complex issue that involves several organizations and experts from diverse backgrounds. The majority of the actions, necessary for the good management of the health problems, are under the responsibility of the animal owner (producers) and they are managed at the farm or production system level. However, some animal health and disease issues require concerted actions at the local level (ex : ARC-E groups), provincial level or even national (Canada).
